Open data

New data describing Prague and life in the metropolis are constantly being created.

On the geoportal you will find a range of open data that you can use for scientific or even commercial purposes, completely free of charge. Cities know that open data brings positive results.

Open Data is information and data available freely and free of charge on the Internet in a machine-readable format. There are no legislative or technical barriers to their use. At the same time, the publisher grants permission for further processing and the data can be freely used for research, analysis and commercial purposes, for example for the creation of web applications.

For publishing vector open data, we use partly the ArcGIS Hub platform, which allows you to download data in several formats, connect to the data via API, or many other functionalities that make working with data easier.

Raster data and specific 3D data are provided as pre-packaged downloads.
